Open ChatGPT, Gemini or Claude and ask for a set number of multiple choice questions on your topic, each with four options and the correct answer listed at the end.
Ask the AI to format the output as the question text, then four options on separate lines, then an answer line, so it pastes into Forms without cleanup.
Check every question and answer yourself. AI can state a wrong fact or mark the wrong option, and a quiz with bad keys scores people unfairly.
Go to forms.new or choose New then Google Forms in Drive. Give the form a title and add a short description with the rules and the number of questions.
Open the Settings tab, click Quizzes and switch on Make this a quiz. Choose when marks are released and what respondents can see.
For each question click Add question, pick Multiple choice, paste the question text, then paste each option on its own line in the options list.
Click Answer key, tick the correct option, set the points, and repeat for every question. Turn on Required if you want no blank answers.
Preview with the eye icon, submit a test response and check the score. Then click Send to share the link or email it to your group.
Tips and common mistakes
Ask the AI for 5 to 10 more questions than you need so you can drop the weak ones.
Set marks to release after manual review if you want to check responses before people see their scores.
For long tests, ask the AI to write a Google Apps Script using FormApp to build the quiz and answer keys for you.
Keep the answer key in a separate list while you paste, so you can tick options without scrolling back.

Can I import questions from a spreadsheet?
Forms does not import questions by itself. You can paste them one by one, or use an Apps Script to add them in bulk.
How do I stop people submitting twice?
In Settings, turn on Limit to 1 response. Respondents must sign in with a Google account for that limit to work.
