What you need
Steps
Open the link you were given in a normal browser. Tap it if it is a short link, or paste it into the address bar and press Enter.
Sign in with your Google account if the form asks for it. Use the account your teacher expects, so your name matches the class list.
Type your name or email in the first fields. Fill every box marked with a red asterisk, because required questions block submission.
Read each question and pick your answer. Round radio buttons allow one choice, square checkboxes allow several, and dropdowns hide the list until you tap them.
For short answer and paragraph questions, type your reply in the text box and check the spelling before you move on.
Scroll or swipe to the bottom. Long quizzes are split into sections, so press Next to reach the following page of questions.
Press Submit. If a red message appears, it names the question you left empty, so go back and complete it.
Look for the confirmation page. If your teacher released grades, tap View score to see your result straight away.
Tips and common mistakes
Do not close or refresh the tab mid-quiz, because most forms only record your answers when you press Submit.
Checkboxes let you tick more than one answer, so read the question for words like all that apply.
Take a screenshot of the confirmation page as proof that your response went through.
If buttons do not respond, open the link in Chrome or Safari instead of the browser built into a social app.
Questions
Can I change my answers after I submit?
Usually no. The response is saved as soon as you press Submit. Ask the form owner to reopen the quiz or delete your response if edits are allowed.
Why will the form not let me submit?
A required question is probably still empty. Scroll up and look for the red note saying the question is required, or the form may have been closed by its owner.
Do I need a Google account to answer?
Only if the creator collects email addresses or limits responses to one per person. Otherwise the link opens for anyone who has it.
