Open the HUAWEI Health app on your iPhone and make sure the watch is connected and nearby.
Tap Devices at the bottom of the screen to see your paired devices.
Select your HUAWEI Watch 6 from the device list.
Tap the more options icon in the top right corner of the watch page.
Choose Unpair device and confirm when asked.
Open Settings on your iPhone, then Bluetooth, and check whether the watch still appears in the list.
Tap the info icon next to the watch name and tap Forget This Device.
Tap Forget Device again in the confirmation popup to remove the entry completely.
Tips and common mistakes
Do the unpair in the HUAWEI Health app first, then clear the leftover Bluetooth entry, otherwise the watch may keep trying to reconnect.
If the watch does not show in the app, turn Bluetooth off and on and reopen HUAWEI Health before trying again.
Before selling the watch, also do a factory reset on the watch itself so your health data is erased.
Questions
Where is the unpair option in the HUAWEI Health app?
Open Devices, select your watch, then tap the more options icon in the top right corner. Unpair device is in that menu.
Why does the watch still appear in iPhone Bluetooth settings?
The app unpair does not always remove the Bluetooth record. Go to Settings, Bluetooth, tap the info icon next to the watch and tap Forget This Device twice.
Will unpairing delete my health data?
Unpairing disconnects the watch from your account but does not wipe the watch. Do a factory reset on the watch if you plan to sell it.
