Lay one sheet of A4 paper on a flat table. Work on a hard surface so the folds stay sharp and the finished booklet sits flat.
Fold the paper in half, bringing the two short edges together, and press the crease with your fingernail or a ruler. Unfold it flat again.
Fold the sheet in half the other way, then in half once more so you have a small rectangle. Crease every fold, then open the paper out fully.
Fold the sheet in half lengthwise, then push the two short ends toward each other so the middle sections open into a cross. Flatten it into an eight page booklet.
Open Canva and create a new Photobook design. Pick a page size that matches your folded booklet, or start from the free zine template linked in the description.
Add your photos, drawings or text to the template pages. Keep text large and leave a margin near the fold so nothing gets trimmed off.
Choose a theme: kids' artwork, a travel photo book, a vocabulary activity, a comic or a mini recipe book.
