What you need
Steps
Open the signature editor. In Outlook on Windows, go to File, then Options, then Mail, then Signatures. On Mac, go to Outlook, then Preferences, then Signatures. Select the signature you want to change.
Click in the signature text where the picture should sit. Start it on a new line so the image does not push a line of text out of place.
Click the Insert Picture icon on the signature toolbar, browse to your image file and click Insert. A small logo under about 200 KB keeps your emails light.
Resize the picture by dragging a corner handle. Hold Shift to keep the proportions. Around 150 to 200 pixels wide is enough for most logos.
To add a link, select the text or image you want people to click, then click the Hyperlink icon or press Ctrl+K.
Paste the full web address, including https://, into the Address field and click OK. The linked text should now show as blue and underlined.
Click OK to close the Signatures window, then OK again on the Options window. Create a new email to check that the picture appears and the link opens.
Tips and common mistakes
Some email clients block images by default, so keep any vital detail in the text as well as the picture.
Always include https:// in the address, or the link may point to the wrong place.
Send a test email to yourself and open it on your phone to confirm the layout holds.
Avoid pasting large screenshots, as they slow down sending and look cramped on mobile.
Questions
Why does my image show as an empty box for other people?
Their email program is probably blocking images from unknown senders. They can click a show images option, but keep important details in plain text too.
Why is my link not clickable?
You may have typed the address without selecting the text first, or left off https://. Select the text, press Ctrl+K and paste the full address again.
Can I do this in Outlook on the web?
Yes. Open Settings, then Mail, then Compose and reply, and edit your signature there. The same picture and link icons appear above the text box.
