What you need
Steps
Open CamScanner and sign in. Your saved scans and imported PDFs appear in the Documents tab at the bottom of the screen.
Tap Toolbox at the bottom of the screen, then look for the PDF Tools section.
Tap Merge PDF. The app shows a list of the PDFs stored in your CamScanner account.
Tick the box next to each file you want to combine. Tap the files in the order you want them to appear in the finished document.
Tap Merge or Next and wait while the app builds the new file. Larger PDFs take a few seconds longer.
Give the merged file a clear name, then tap Save or Done. It now sits in your Documents list.
Open the new file to check the page order, then tap Share to export it as a PDF to email, Drive or another app.
Tips and common mistakes
Import any PDFs from other apps into CamScanner first, or they will not show up in the merge list.
Check the page order before you save, since reordering after merging means starting again.
Some PDF tools in the free version are limited, so sign in with an account to keep your merged files in one place.
Questions
Can I merge more than two PDFs at once?
Yes. Tick as many files as you need in the merge list and they will be joined into one document in the order you select them.
Where does the merged PDF go?
It saves to your CamScanner Documents list. From there you can open it, rename it, or share it as a PDF to another app.
Can I merge a PDF with a new scan?
Scan the pages in CamScanner first and save them as a PDF. The new file then appears in the merge list like any other document.
