How to build editable AI ads with Claude, Higgsfield and Figma

Build a set of social ads where the background comes from AI but the headline, logo and CTA stay as editable Figma layers. You will set up a Claude skill, connect Figma and Higgsfield, and let Claude assemble the ads. It suits designers and brand teams who already pay for Figma and have Higgsfield credits.

What you need

Steps

  1. Install the free Claude skill, then connect both Figma connectors and the Higgsfield MCP so Claude can read and write in your files.

  2. Ask Claude to build your Figma template file with a style guide, components and master frames at 4:5, 1:1 and 9:16.

  3. Upload your logo SVG, a product photo and your brand hex codes so the whole file repoints to your brand.

  4. Write your ad angles and approve the headline, body and CTA copy before any image is generated.

  5. Send six Higgsfield prompts at once and generate backgrounds only, with no text, logo or button in them.

  6. Run the built-in QA pass and let Claude review its own images and reject the weak ones.

  7. Let Claude assemble the ads in Figma, placing headline, body, CTA and logo as layers bound to brand variables.

  8. Use Figma variables to recolor every ad at once, and swap a background without rebuilding the copy.

  9. Edit the text where needed, then export the full set organised by angle, ready for Meta.

Tips and common mistakes

Keep all wording out of the AI prompt so the background stays clean and the text stays editable.

Bind colours and fonts to Figma variables from the start, or you will be recolouring ads one by one.

Check every exported frame at full size before uploading, since small text breaks on mobile feeds.

Keep your logo as a clean SVG rather than a screenshot so it stays sharp at every size.

Questions

Do I need a paid Figma plan?

Yes, the workflow uses connectors and variables that need a paid Figma plan. A free account will not be enough.

Can I still edit the text after the ads are built?

Yes. That is the point of the workflow. The headline, body and CTA sit on normal Figma layers, so you retype them without regenerating any image.

Why does Higgsfield only make the background?

Text baked into an AI image cannot be edited, and it often comes back with typos or a wrong logo. Generating the background alone keeps everything on top as live layers.
