Steps
Open the Settings app on your iPhone Duo and tap Control Center to see the list of controls you can add.
Scroll to More Controls, find Screen Recording and tap the green plus button next to it to move it into Included Controls.
If your phone has an Action button, open Settings, tap Action Button and swipe through the options until Screen Recording is selected.
Swipe down from the top right corner of the screen to open Control Center.
Tap the Screen Recording button, which looks like a circle inside a circle. A three second countdown runs before recording starts.
To narrate while you record, press and hold the Screen Recording button and turn on the microphone before you start.
Leave Control Center and open the app or screen you want to capture, then use the phone as normal.
Stop the recording by tapping the red status bar at the top of the screen or the Screen Recording button in Control Center.
Open Photos, then go to Albums and Screen Recordings to find and share the finished clip.
Tips and common mistakes
The microphone is off by default, so turn it on in the long press menu if you want your voice in the clip.
Switch on Do Not Disturb before recording so incoming notifications do not appear in the video.
Locking the screen or taking a call ends the recording, so keep the phone awake while you capture.
Check your free storage first, since long recordings take up space quickly.
