On the printer control panel, open the Wireless or Network menu and find Wi-Fi Direct. Turn it on if it is off.

Click Connect and type the Wi-Fi Direct password exactly as shown on the printer. Watch for capital letters.
Wait for Windows to show the printer network as connected. The computer may warn that there is no internet, which is normal.
