What you need
Steps
Start with the vocabulary section. Write each new word in your notebook with its English meaning, then say it out loud twice before moving on.
Play the dialogue once without reading any script. Just listen and jot down the words and phrases you catch, even if you do not understand them yet.
Go through the conversation breakdown line by line. Pause after each line and note the grammar pattern or phrase being explained, such as a verb ending.
Watch who uses honorifics. The student uses forms like -(으)시다 and 드리다, while the professor does not. Mark these in your notes so you can copy them later.
Read the speaking instructions and open the script PDF. Sit somewhere you can speak at normal volume without disturbing anyone.
Play one line, pause, and repeat it out loud. Copy the speed and the rise and fall of the voice, not just the words, then move to the next line.
Record yourself saying the same lines and compare with the original. Note the sounds or endings you flatten and say those lines again.
Finish by saying the whole dialogue along with the audio, without pausing. Repeat the full routine two or three times a week with a new dialogue.
Tips and common mistakes
Pause at the end of a full phrase, not mid-sentence, so you keep the rhythm of the original.
Say everything out loud rather than in your head, because your mouth needs the practice as much as your ears.
Pick three or four phrases to master per session instead of trying to memorise the whole dialogue at once.
Listen to the same clip again the next day before starting something new. Repetition is what makes it stick.
Questions
Is this lesson too hard for a beginner?
It is aimed at intermediate learners, but beginners can still use it. Take a few words and phrases from each section and treat that as a good session.
Do I need the script PDF?
It helps but is not essential. If you cannot get it, write down the lines yourself during the breakdown section and use your own notes.
How long should I spend on one dialogue?
Around 30 minutes for the full listen, break down and speak routine. You can split it across two sittings if you prefer.
