Sign in to Claude and start a new chat. Use a model that supports connectors, such as the latest Claude model listed in the model picker.
Open the connectors or integrations settings in Claude and find Canva in the list. Click Connect and sign in to your Canva account when the authorisation window opens.
Return to the chat and confirm the Canva connector shows as enabled. If it does not, refresh the page and check the connector again.
Write a prompt that states the design type, size, purpose, headline, body text, colours and style. For example: a poster for a Saturday yoga class, A3 portrait, calm green tones, bold headline.
Send the prompt and wait while Claude builds the design. If the result is close but not right, reply with changes like a different colour or larger headline instead of starting over.
Open the generated design in Canva using the link or button Claude returns. It opens as a normal editable Canva design.
Edit the text, swap images, adjust fonts and move elements in the Canva editor. Use the position tools to align items neatly.
Download the finished poster as PDF Print for printing or PNG for sharing online. Check the text and margins before you export.
